'Travel. Enjoy. Respect' is the campaign theme of the UN Tourism Agency, UNWTO related to sustainable tourism which ultimately involves the tourists as an important part to keep the earth as a place to live together. The campaign aims to make tourists aware of the impact of travel that can affect the social, cultural, political and economic aspects.

You know when travel can now be said as a lifestyle for many people living in big cities, more and more people are traveling. According to UNWTO records, last year, as many as 1.24 billion tourists have traveled to various parts of the world.

No one would have guessed if this would get bigger, citing CNN Indonesia, today, the number is expected to rise as much as 1.8 billion tourists by 2030.

Official information from UNWTO Secretary General, Taleb Rifai can provide a good understanding for world travelers. Of course.

"The challenge in World Tourism Day is to make tourists better change the world."

Then he adds, "There are five corridors that must be maintained for sustainability in terms of the tourism industry is economic, social, environmental, cultural and peace."

Perhaps this may attract the attention of tourists, but there is no other and indispensable way, the campaign 'Travel. Enjoy. Respect 'released UNWTO in book form, which explains the various steps of being a responsible tourist.

Excerpts from the article writing, chapters 'Keeping the Environment', some of the recommended steps for tourists when traveling are; preserving nature conservation, using environmentally friendly and energy-efficient products, only visiting natural areas open to the public, leaving a good impression on the local people.

Indeed there is currently a fact about the anti-tourist issues that are happening in some European regions, UNWTO hopes with this campaign the tourists are no longer considered a threat to the country or city that it was.

You've read in the previous article, this summer, local people in some European regions are protesting against tourists who are deemed disrespectful of local customs and customs.

It should be everywhere, of course, the earth in which humankind can live a life of mutual care and sharing.
