After #MH17 Some Airlines Changes Flight Route


Qantas Airways

Flight route through the air space of Ukraine is currently avoided by many airlines in the world, the track becomes vacant, after the crash of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) MH17.

Despite this flight path - also known as "Airway L980" is quite popular for the usual plane crossing, the path connecting the main cities in Europe with major cities in Asia, such as Tokyo, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.


Singapore Airlines

The following world airlines that change the flight route began Friday, July 18, 2014.

1. Qantas Airways
2. Asiana Airlines
3. Korean Air
4. Singapore Airlines
5. Cathay Pacific

6. Pakistan International Airlines
7. Air India
8. Thai Airways
9. Air China
10 China Eastern Airways

11. Vietnam Airlines
12. Lufthansa
13. Virgin Atlantic
14. KLM
15. Turkish Airlines

16. Alitalia
17. Air France


While some other airlines incidentally has no route through the "Airway L980" on the Ukrainian air space, such as British Airways, Etihad and Aeroflot. Travelers can define their own journey in the times to come.
