Garuda opens the Jakarta - Perth route
This was stated by representatives of Garuda Indonesia airline last month on Thursday, June 27, 2013 in a BUMN Innovation Expo & Awards 2013, in Jakarta.
Although there is a demand to bring back the old route Jakarta - Darwin, the new route can be easier for tourists from Australia to get additional plan options to various businesses and other tourist destination in Indonesia, given the potential for Perth, Australia.
Garuda airline has just received the Skytrax "World's Best Economy Class 2013" beat Singapore Airlines and Asiana Airlines and won award "Best Economy Class Airline Seat 2013".
A proud milestone this year for the airline, given the title won last year by the Singapore Airlines.
Australian tourists also can consider the ease of reaching to other destinations in Indonesia, with a new integrated passenger service system.
