The Fragrant “Kajoe Aro” Tea!

When issuing a cloud of tea warm served, the smell of hot tea, the steam hovering in the air.

Its feel gently touching the mouth, like a fresh tea leaves that touch the tongue, and give you all the best inside. Ranging from high-quality fragrant tea, rarely now can smell the aroma is so natural, as if allowed to guess the smell of paradise.

True, this is “Kajoe Aro Tea”, this tea is less well known in Indonesia since 90 percent of production is exported to Europe.

A growing areas in the District Kayu Aro, Kerinci, Jambi Province, opened by the Dutch East Indies via the NV HVA (Vereniging Amsterdam Holland) in 1925 and began to plant tea in 1926.

Apparently, this tea has become a favorite beverage of European society, including the Netherlands, Germany, Britain, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Italy and American society since time immemorial. It feels so natural and processed without chemicals, even according to news the Queen of Netherlands at that time made Kajoe Aro Tea as a special drink dishes in the evening with crusty bread that still continues to this day.

Plantation area is now managed by Plantation State VI Ltd – Jambi with the flurry of plantation workers there, when the clock starts working in the morning time. From the factory sirens wailed at 6:30 am broke the morning silence on the slopes of Mount Kerinci.

Plantation area of 3014.60 hectares filled with tea pickers fitted with ‘caping’ hat (typical peasant hat made from the bark or bamboos), jacket, boots, and a basket on their shoulder rushing through a thick fog which hung over the plantations.

Cool area with views of green tea plantations extend like a rug on the sidelines of the morning mist.

For tea lovers hunt for granted this type of tea, get a new flavor and aroma. Original scented tea and soft, with a slightly bitter flavor of a typical tea.
